Gear Express Summer Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

   The promoter is GEX Operations Pty Ltd (ABN 98 614 473 933) trading as Gear Express, located at Unit 24, 2 Cobham Street, Reservoir VIC 3073 (“Promoter”).

2. Promotion Period

   The promotion starts at 12:01am AEDT on 1 December 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 28 February 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

3. Eligibility

   • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
   • Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
   • A valid Gear Express customer account is required to enter.

4. How to Enter

   • Customers automatically receive one (1) entry per customer per day when they complete a Gear Express booking with a value of over $100 (including GST) during the Promotion Period.
   • “Booking” refers to a confirmed hire transaction made through the Gear Express website, Booqable store, or via the operations team.
   • No additional purchase, fee, or action is required to enter.
   • Entries are limited to one per customer per calendar day, regardless of the number or value of bookings made by that customer on that day.
   • Entries are recorded automatically via the customer account associated with the qualifying booking.

5. Prize

   • There is one (1) prize consisting of a Gear Express hire voucher valued at $499.
   • The voucher is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and must be used for hire bookings only.
   • Standard hire terms, availability and booking policies apply when redeeming the voucher.

6. Prize Draw

   • The winner will be selected via a random draw on 1 March 2026 at Unit 24, 2 Cobham Street, Reservoir VIC 3073.
   • The draw will be conducted fairly and randomly using an appropriate method.

7. Winner Notification and Publication

   • The winner will be notified via the email address associated with their Gear Express account within two (2) business days of the draw.
   • The winner’s first name and the first initial of their surname will also be published on the promotion landing page at gearex.com.au.

8. Prize Claim and Redraw

   • The winner must claim the prize within 90 days of being notified.
   • If the prize is not claimed within this time, the Promoter may conduct a redraw using the same method at the same location.
   • Any redraw winner will be notified via email within two (2) business days of the redraw and will be published on the promotion landing page.

9. General Conditions

   • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, provides false details, or otherwise acts inconsistently with these Terms & Conditions.
   • The Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, late, lost or misdirected entries, or incorrect account details provided by entrants.
   • By entering, entrants agree that the Promoter may use their first name and initial of surname for winner announcements and reasonable promotional purposes related to this promotion.
   • This promotion is a trade promotion lottery conducted in Victoria. No permit is required as no additional fee is charged to enter and winners are determined by chance.

10. Privacy

    The Promoter handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available on the Gear Express website. Personal information is used for the purpose of administering this promotion, contacting the winner, and related purposes unless otherwise agreed by the entrant.

11. Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion or the use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

12. Acceptance

    Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
